Job Description:

A retail company based in South London requires an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their finance team. Reporting directly in to the Accounts Payable Manager, the successful candidate will be joining a steady environment within a luxurious high end retailer.

Role Responsibilities -

  • Coding and logging approximately 150 invoices per week
  • Running a weekly BACs run and cheque run
  • Writing out manual cheques as required
  • Resolving supplier and manager queries
  • Assisting with coding and processing of employee expenses
  • Preparation of spreadsheets detailing month end provisions
  • Accessing the purchase ledger email box on a daily basis and printing invoices sent online
  • Assisting with archiving procedures at the year end
  • Reconciling statements
  • Any other ad hoc duties


Preferred Skills:

Candidate Requirements -

  • 1-2 years Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger experience
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Previous retail experience would be beneficial, however not essential
