Leading global Charity based in the heart of London is looking for a qualified and experienced Finance Business Partner to join its dynamic finance team.

The business is at the forefront of its field and run in an extremely modern and commercial with the finance team adopting best practice methodology.

The role will report to the Head of Financial Management Services in a team of 17. The role will manage one qualified Analyst, who in turn will manage two part-qualified Analysts. This mini team will be responsible for partner with both of the organisations charitable directorates.


  • Build strong relations and provide a single point of contact for the Directors and Senior Management that you support on financial issues, providing financial reporting and management information and signposting as appropriate to specialist finance functions.
  • Provide analysis and scrutiny of financial outcomes and other indicators of business performance to inform decision making.
  • Review management accounts and commentary monthly to provide consolidated view for your directorates. Act as a point of contact for any escalations from your team with regards to risks and opportunities, including any latest estimate challenges.
  • Manage the directorates long term financial framework and annual budgeting process in coordination with your team, budget holders and Directors, in line with agreed timetables.
  • Provide strong proactive support into strategy development, working closely with senior management and the strategy team to ensure this is costed appropriately.
  • Provide financial support to all relevant projects / strategies by providing analysis, expert advice and robust challenge as required. Be a proactive member of all relevant programme and project groups.
  • Lead, manage, develop and motivate your team. Ensuring robust management and supervisory practices are undertaken. Provide opportunities to develop both technical and business partnering skills. Ensure consistency of approach to budget holders across directorate.
  • Work closely with other areas of finance to provide a joined up approach across the department


  • Qualified CIMA ACA ACCA or equivalent
  • Solid Business Partnering experience - candidates must have demonstrable evidence on their CV of substantial experience of working with, and influencing, non-finance stakeholders
  • Charities experience is NOT a requirement, however experience from a large, complex multi-entity business would be preferable
