A company operating within the insurance industry requires a Cash Allocation Clerk to join their Finance team based in its Central London head office. The company is known worldwide and is highly regarded within the industry amongst its peers. You'll be joining a fast paced, hard working but highly rewarding working environment.

Role Responsibilities -

  • Monitoring and updated the internal cash book
  • Allocating payments/funds across various bank accounts and vendors
  • Preparing breakdowns of payment requests
  • Resolving queries and working with other departments within finance regarding unallocated cash receipts
  • Provide credit control with reconciliation reports on cash allocation
  • Filing
  • Other ad hoc duties as and when required


Preferred Skills:

Candidate Requirements -

  • Experience with the above role responsibilities
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines with high volumes
  • SUN accounting system experience would be beneficial however not essential
  • Previous experience working within a finance department
  • No finance studies needed however AAT (or equivalent) would be beneficial
