Description

Well-established technology company based in Central London and are looking for a Finance Controller.

Reporting directly into the CEO your main duties are as follows:

Manage the month end process
Completion and finalisation of the monthly Exec Pack for submission to the Board. This includes accurate and detailed analysis of the P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and working capital
Preparation and management of the year end statutory accounts for all legal entities within the Group, including the Group consolidated statutory accounts
Preparation of the year end audit file for all legal entities within the Group
Liaison with the external auditors
Preparation and submission of monthly invoices to the businesses largest customer, including the updating of the GP model required for one of our partners
Preparation and / or review the monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
Preparation and / or review of the preparation and submission of the quarterly VAT return

Preparation of the weekly cash flow forecast for review by CEO as a way of managing the cash flow of the company
Preparation and submission of all regulatory forms
Submission of all FCA forms on a timely basis
Manage the Finance Assistants to ensure that all billing and purchase invoicing is processed accurately and on a timely basis as well as ensuring all internal and external tickets are being responded to within SLA, and that the Finance Assistants are performing in line with the expectations of their job roles
Review of the monthly payment file and co-ordinating timely payments to all vendors
Preparation of the annual budget and any forecasts throughout the year
Assisting the HR & Office Manager with the preparation of payroll data to be passed on to the external payroll bureau
Drive change to automation of finance processes for greater efficiencies
Any other duties as determined by the CEO

 

Duties

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Experience within a high-pressured finance department
Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
Resilience to work in a fast-paced sales environment
Microsoft Excel – advanced level
Educated to university level standard or equivalent
