A PR firm based in the heart of Central London requires a Part Time Financial Controller to join their growing and flourishing organisation on a part time basis. The successful candidate will be working in a fast paced environment with a rewarding culture typical to the Public Relations industry.


  • Overseeing and ensuring Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable ledgers are accurate
  • Review bank reconciliations
  • Review expenses and implement control process
  • Signing off on and approving payments
  • Assisting with the annual budget preparation
  • Accruals, prepayments, journal
  • Month end close process
  • Maintain fixed assets register
  • Manage VAT returns and payments
  • Approve monthly profit and loss statement
  • Competitor analysis
  • Variance analysis
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations and monthly control pack sign off
  • Assist with finance projects i.e. Team profit and loss statements, client and job profitability management monthly reports, analysis of project budgets and efficiencies, fees and cost allocation

Candidate Requirements –

  • Qualified ACCA/CIMA
  • Candidates qualified by experience will be considered
  • 6+ years experience
  • Industry experience is beneficial however not essential
  • SAGE 50
  • Desire to grow within a company and take on new tasks and roles when needed
  • Strong communication skills
  • Previous managerial experience is desired
