A global media business requires a Senior FP&A Analyst. The successful candidate will be joining a business admired for its culture amongst its peers within the industry. The role offers great progression within a large brand.

Duties

Role Responsibilities –

  • Establish consistent view of revenue and pipeline data across all regions
  • Develop full understanding of reporting systems and differences between reporting of data
  • Work with Finance Director to model the digital revenue funnel
  • Use understanding of pipeline and revenue trends to challenge or ratify future forecasts and
    budget assumptions, and to highlight risks and opportunities
  • Provide Agency and client planning analysis as required
  • Be key point of contact for Agency revenue reporting and rebate queries or tier setting
  • Provide financial planning/analytical support to International digital advertising/editorial organisation
  • Support the Finance Director in the development of annual and medium term financial models
  • Provide financial support for new digital business development / growth initiatives
  • Define and communicate data dimensions and posting structure for Digital revenue transactions
  • Develop audience, inventory and site-based KPIs
  • Perform ad-hoc financial, commercial and operational analysis as required
  • Be the key point of contact for all digital publishing financial questions
  • Assist the Finance Director with digital budgeting and planning process management
  • Create the Digital section of all budget/forecast presentations
  • Manage M&A processes and associated data rooms and communication
  • Perform industry and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities and threats
  • Support the construction of market models for M&A purposes
  • Work with local finance teams to prepare of assets for diligence

Candidate Requirements –

  • Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA (or equivalent)
  • Netsuite experience would be beneficial however not essential
  • Previous analytical experience
  • Previous digital/media industry experience would be preferred
  • Positive and proactive individual
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Strong work ethic
