Description

Halliday Marx have partnered with Tech business to hire an Accountant with Benelux experience on a permanent basis.

Hybrid working (2/3 days in the West London office)

Duties

Managing the accounting for the Dutch entity

Preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across the Benelux entities

Ensure compliance with local GAAP and tax regulations (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg)

Business partnering with stakeholders across the organisation to support financial decision-making

Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes

Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and local authorities as needed

VAT returns

Drive process improvements and contribute to finance system enhancements

Assist with group consolidation and reporting

Requirements

3-4 years experience with Benelux accounting

Available to start within 6 weeks

Excellent communication skills

Dutch/French speaker preferred but not essential
