Halliday Marx have partnered with a growing Tech firm to recruit an Assistant Financial Accountant on a permanent basis.

Duties

• Assist and support the preparation of the statutory accounts and financial reporting
• Assist and support the preparation of the monthly management accounts
• Accruals, prepayments and journals
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Cashflow reporting
• Assisting with year end prep and audit
• In-depth Analysis and review of Profit & Loss
• Liaising with the group’s tax consultants
• Adhoc reporting on request

Requirements

• Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent)
• 2 years of UK working experience in accounting
• Confident and experienced with accruals, prepayments and journals
• Experienced with balance sheet reconciliations
• Excellent communication skills
• Good excel skills (VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables)
