Halliday Marx have partnered with well respected and trendy media business, to hire a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis.

You must be part qualified as a minimum through either the ACA/ACCA

50k-55k + 10% bonus

Hybrid working (3 days in the office)

Duties

• Support year-end statutory accounts preparation and liaise with auditors.
• Month
• Responsible for the month-end accounting processes, including preparing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and P&L analysis
• Maintain accurate general ledger postings, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Support the finance manager in preparing budgets, reforecasts, and cashflow projections.
• Monitor actuals against budgets for tours, recording projects, and promotional campaigns.
• Assist in preparing VAT returns, withholding tax documentation, and supporting international payments.
• Maintain compliance with industry regulations and assist with ad-hoc reporting for regulatory bodies.
• Identify opportunities to streamline finance processes and implement new accounting software/tools.

Requirements

• You must be at least part qualified as a minimum through either the ACA/ACCA
• Must be able to start within 2 months
• Experience preparing year end accounts
• Experience with strict month end deadlines
