Halliday Marx have partnered with a growing Luxury Retailer to recruit a Part Qualified Financial Accountant on a Permanent basis. Situated in their prestigious London offices, this role offers hybrid working for the successful candidate.

This role works closely alongside the Financial Reporting Manager and you will ensure accurate and timely reporting of the financial P&L and balance sheets.

Duties

• Monthly and Quarterly Reporting of Balance Sheet under IFRS
• Reconciliation and reporting on inventory and stock
• Prepare and process month end journals
• Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Assist and support with VAT and company tax submissions for HMRC filing requirements
• Support and assist with the preparation of the annual Statutory Accounts
• Assist with cashflow forecasts
• Bank Reconciliations
• Manage and oversee the development of the Accounts Payable team
• Assist and support with other adhoc duties, projects and tasks

The Successful Candidate;

• Studying/Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Previous experience and exposure reporting under IFRS
• Technical and analytical mindset
• Exceptional communicator – both written and verbal and with multiple stakeholders internally and externally
• Previous working experience with SAP would be desirable
• Team player – Work collectively in a team environment, but also autonomously
• Strong attention to detail
