Halliday Marx have partnered with an international consultancy to hire a Finance Assistant on a permanent basis.

Duties

• Processing multi-currency supplier invoices for multiple legal entities
• Prepare payment runs and reconciling bank accounts on a daily basis
• Accruals, prepayment and journals
• Managing vendors and ensuring payments are allocated to invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Ensure vendor onboarding controls and bank changes are maintained to mitigate the risk of fraud
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of AP and accounting processes
• Running AP reports and reconciling to sub-ledgers and monitoring ageing
• Manage credit card transactions and month end reconciliations
• Monitor the AP mailbox

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience within finance, in particular AP, AR and general bookkeeping
• Excellent understanding of debits and credits
• Good sense of humour
