Halliday Marx have partnered with a very fast moving, high growth Financial Services company to hire a Head of Accounting on a 12 Month Contract basis.

The role is to start as soon as possible and will offer Hybrid working in London, but the successful candidate needs to work in Leeds for 1 week a month.

Duties

• Full Month end close
• Post acquisition integration projects
• Strategic projects
• Managing a team of approx. 14 (3 direct).
• Support Audit
• Continuous process improvements striving for efficiency
• Insightful performance analysis v past forecasts and periods

You will have / be:

• ACA Qualified (CIMA, ACCA, CA, CPA or equivalent)
• Strong team management experience
• A good ability to multi task and catch and run with multiple projects
• IFRS 9 knowledge would be beneficial
• Financial Services background would be beneficial
