Halliday Marx are in partnership with a worldwide FMCG business to hire a solid Interim Accounts Payable Specialist for 6 months.

Interim Accounts Payable Specialist

Hybrid (3/4 days in the office – Central London)

6 months

£17–£18 per hour + holiday pay

Duties

• Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Matching invoices against purchase orders and resolving discrepancies.
• Reconciling supplier statements and investigating outstanding balances.
• Managing supplier queries and maintaining strong working relationships.
• Supporting payment runs and ensuring suppliers are paid on time.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring invoices are processed in line with company procedures.
• Assisting with month-end activities and other ad hoc finance tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Available to start within 2 weeks
• Happy to be in the office up to 4 days per week in Central London
• Minimum of 3 years previous experience in an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger role.
