Halliday Marx have exclusively partnered with a professional services business in Central London that is looking to appoint a Part-Qualified Management Accountant on an initial 3-month temporary contract.

Interim Part Qualified Management Accountant

£275 – £300 per day

3 months (Could extend)

Hybrid (Central London offices)

Duties

• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Support month-end close, including accruals, prepayments and journal postings.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity.
• Work closely with colleagues across finance and the wider business to support reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Immediately Available
• Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Previous experience in a Management Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant role.
• Strong understanding of month-end processes, management reporting and reconciliations.
• Good Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
• Available to start at short notice or within a short timeframe
