Halliday Marx have partnered with a truly outstanding media business to recruit a Management Accountant on a permanent basis. This role is suited to someone with a good understanding of P&L’s and Balance Sheets who is looking for their first Management Accounting role.
This role has hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 from home)
Duties
Responsibilities
- Producing a full set of Management Accounts – {Monthly P&L + Balance Sheet} for several entities
- Actual vs Budget Variance Analysis
- Budgeting + Forecasting for 1 entity
- Liaising with the Auditors
- Preparation of Journals, prepayments and Accruals
- Producing the Statutory Accounts
- Manage the audit process
- Reconciliation of Payroll to the general ledger
- VAT Submissions
- Tax accounting duties
Requirements
- P&L + Balance sheet experience is an absolute must
- 2 years of experience in accounting
- Actively studying for a professional qualification
- Very good double entry bookkeeping skills
- Strong Excel skills {Vlookup’s & Pivot Tables as a minimum}
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
