Halliday Marx have partnered with a growing Consultancy Organisation to recruit a Payroll & Benefits Officer on a permanent basis. Reporting into the HR Manager, you will be the subject matter expert on Payroll and Benefits for the EMEA regions and act as a designated point of contact between payroll and HR.


This is a Hybrid working role, allowing the flexibility to be based both remotely and the option to go into the office to work collectively with your colleagues.


  • Responsible for the day to day processing of allocated EMEA Payrolls
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory labour and finance related laws and regulations in place from time to time,
    within each of the countries that centralised payrolls are run
  • Responsible for ensuring ‘new employee’s and joiners within EMEA and added to payroll
  • Responsible for ensuring leaver’s have been removed accordingly once they have departed the organisation
  • Act as the designated point of contact and subject matter expert on all payroll and benefit related queries
  • Process any payroll adjustments across the EMEA regions
  • Maintain and build relationships with external suppliers
  • Process and complete all payroll administration relating to maternity, paternity, adoption or shared parental leave
  • Support the preparation and submission of all statutory reporting documentation in each EMEA country (e.g. P60’s, P11D’s)
  • Support the Senior Management with Payroll requests (e.g. salary data, sickness, holidays)
  • Support and assist with all month-end and year-end payroll reporting
  • Adhoc duties, projects and requests as required

The Successful Candidate;

  • CIPD, ACCA or CIMA studier, part qualified or equivalent is strongly desirable
  • Strong working knowledge and understanding of EMEA payroll and benefits
  • 2-4 years experience as a Payroll officer in a busy corporate environment
  • Previous experience utilising ADP and Dayforce
  • Experience in relation to SOX compliance
  • Excellent attention to detail and work to strict deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, including both written and verbal communication
  • Previous experience with HR SAP would be advantageous
