Description

Halliday Marx have partnered with a Global Telecommunications Company to recruit a Senior Accountant on an interim 6 month contract.

Hybrid working and based in their luxury City of London offices, the Senior Accountant will support month-end close, management and financial reporting and the annual audit.

Duties

• Statutory reporting under local GAAP for multiple entities
• Support with the preparation of local financial statements for several entities
• Assist with the monthly management reporting
• Monthly Opex and intercompany accounting and reporting under IFRS
• Closely work alongside the FP&A team with commentary against forecast
• Timely balance sheet reconciliations and reviewing monthly cash positions
• Adhoc support and project work for the wider finance team

The Successful Candidate;

• Professional Accountancy Qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (Local GAAP & IFRS)
• Strong attention to detail, deadline driven and can work to tight deadlines
• Self starter and strong team plater
• Previous SAP experience is desirable
• Excellent analytical and Excel skills
